Membership

Membership of SSSF is open to anyone with a Swedish or Scandinavian connection that has interest in helping the SSSF further its objective "To own, maintain and operate and preserve the Swedish American Hall at 2174 Market Street in San Francisco. To facilitate Scandinavian cultural events at the Swedish American Hall and in the Bay Area."

Prospective members have to be proposed by two current members and after membership committee recommendation taken up as members after approval by the Board of Directors.

There is no initiation or annual membership fee, but members are expected to contribute to the society's activities and to attend the annual meeting and other events.
