Mission & Background
The mission of the Library and Archives committee is to maintain archives reflecting our local heritage and conserve items of Swedish American culture.
The Archives Committee was established in 2000 and is part of The Swedish Society of San Francisco. The archives committee will collect documentary materials based on their support of the mission statement.

- Published materials
- Digital media (links to it will appear on this page in a near future)
- Photographic papers
- Library books
- Material from special events (including 1894, 1915, 1939, 1988, 2001)
The library and collections are open by appointment only, send an e-mail to archives@swedishsocietysf.org to make an appointment.
The committee accepts material by gift only. If donations are not within scope, an attempt will be made to refer to other source.
